Sony confirms 4K PlayStation 4

After weeks of speculation, Sony has confirmed that it will be releasing an updated version of its PlayStation 4 console that will enable 4K gaming.
Andrew House, president of Sony Interactive Entertainment told the FT that the new PlayStation model – codenamed Neo – will support Ultra HD and added added that the launch won’t happen until there is “a full range of the best experiences on the new system that we can showcase in the entirety,” suggesting a wide range of enhanced features.
