Amazon Prime Video eyes France, Italy, Spain launches

Amazon is prepping to launch Prime Instant Video streaming service in France, Spain and Italy, according to French daily Le Figaro – which reports that the launches will occur before the end of the year.
The Amazon brand name is said to have recently been registered in France, with its service currently limited to the UK and Germany.
There has thus far been no official statement from Amazon, but an announcement could be made during the company’s next earnings report, scheduled for July 25th.
