Altice reveals content organisational structure

Multinational cable, fibre, telecommunications, contents and media company Altice has revealed further details of the organisational structure of its international media and content organisation, led by Alain Weill as CEO: Damien Bernet is appointed Deputy CEO; Bernard Mourad is appointed Head of Business Development; Nicolas Rotkoff is appointed Head of Channels Distribution and Sport Rights acquisition;  Frank Melloul is appointed CEO of i24 News, and; Nora Melhli is appointed Head of Original Creation and Non-Linear Content.

Media and Content country managers will report to this team.

Michel Combes, Chief Executive Officer of Altice Group, said the new organisation of Altice Content International constituted an important step in the continued strengthening of Altice’s corporate and operational structure. “Our Media and Content strategy, led by Alain, represents a critical part of our global ambition of convergence: deliver to our customers the best news channels, the best sport content, the best series and movies.”

Weil said: “To develop our media businesses, we are expecting, with this team of experts and great professionals, to launch i24 News in the United States, to create original series and movies as we are doing with an extraordinary success in Israel and to continue our sport rights acquisitions. Altice Media and Content strategy will continue to be focused in our main territories, especially in France, the US, Portugal and Israel.”
