Serbian telecom operator Telekom Srbija and multiplex operator Emisiona Tehnika i Veze (ETV) have launched the country’s first national DTT pay-TV service.

Antenna Plus currently consists of 26 TV channels and five radio stations. The TV offer includes 12 thematic channels from commercial broadcaster Pink, five Arenasport channels, as well as Minimax, Nickelodeon, FX Film Klub, Agro TV, Zenska TV, Kitchen TV, Hram Televizija, Info na Dlanu and Sve na Dlanu.

The monthly subscription is RSD 899 (€7.30), with a minimum subscription period of 2 years. However, all those who register by October 31st will get free access until the end of the year. There is also a RSD 1800 connection fee.

Antenna Plus broadcasts in the DVB-T2 standard with Conax Contego encryption, on Mux 1 and Mux 3, covering 97 per cent of households in Serbia.

The main target group are users that do not have technical conditions to subscribe to Telekom Srbija’s IPTV service mts TV, mainly located in rural areas.

mts Antena TV, the joint venture between Telekom Srbija and ETV, is targeting around 70,000 subscribers in 2017, a figure set to grow to around 200,000 in 2021.
