OCS goes OTT

Orange is making its TV series and movies channels bouquet OCS available as an OTT service in addition to its carriage on Orange, Canal, Bouygues Telecom, Free, SFR and Fransat platforms as well as on PlayStation.

OCS, which has 2.5 million subscribers, will be available for €9.99 a month on mobile, tablet and smartphone. A further €11.99 fee will add access to TV from a Chromecast dongle, and soon from Xbox One, Android TV and Apple TV.

Contract-free, these two offers are targeting the four million French users and young adults who have no TV set at home and watch TV shows from a connected device only. OCS is also targeting FTA DTT households that don’t have any access to cable, IPTV or fibre TV services.

OCS TV series include the HBO titles such as Game of Thrones or Westworld as well as US movies from the Sony library.

The four themed channels are also committing into French films pre-acquisitions, French TV series, youth programming and documentaries.

The bouquet is completed by on the go and on-demand service OCS Go that gives the choice between replay streaming and downloaded videos.
