Mediamorph boosts TDC’s content exploitation

December 6, 2016

Content orchestration and financial processing platform Mediamorph has been selected by BLOCKBUSTER – a part of the Danish incumbent telco, TDC Group – and the largest TVoD provider in Denmark.

Mediamorph’s platform will streamline the management of contracts, supplier royalty reporting, and critical title avails data flowing from content providers. TDC Group’s BLOCKBUSTER home entertainment on demand service is the dominant digital retailer in Denmark, with more than 8,000 titles available for sale or rent.

Mediamorph’s cloud-based enterprise software and data services bridge content providers and content platforms to help customers better understand content value, optimize content exploitation, and maximise revenues.

“Digital distribution in a partnership with many content providers requires the right platform to manage rights and finance with both accuracy and transparency,” said Casper Hald, Head of BLOCKBUSTER, the TDC Group. “By implementing Mediamorph’s platform into our business structure, we will not only have the assurance that all content will be available on time with the correct terms to maximize revenue, but also build a bridge our partners to intelligently share our performance.”

TDC Group’s digital growth strategy in the BLOCKBUSTER brand has resulted in a massive increase in the combination of contract, rights, restrictions, languages, and availability window information to process and manage. Ensuring accurate metadata around content windows, placement, and pricing calculations helps drive monetisation and supports compliance requirements with TDC Group’s growing number of content partners.

“We are excited to help TDC Group expand the BLOCKBUSTER service and to drive more effective use of all of their digital content,” stated Rob Gardos, CEO, Mediamorph. “Mediamorph’s solution will help TDC Group maximise revenue by making sure content is exploited properly and to the fullest.”
