New Netflix ISP leaders in Spain, Mexico, S.Korea

Netflix has released November data from its ISP Speed Index, its monthly update on which Internet Service Providers (ISPs) provide the best prime-time Netflix streaming experience.

In the US, the average monthly speed for CenturyLink climbed to 2.55 Megabits per second (Mbps), up from 2.11 Mbps in October.

In South Korea, D’LIVE rose three places to take the No. 1 spot with a significant average monthly speed increase of 1.02 Mbps since last month, raising it to 3.13 Mbps in November. LG U+ dropped one spot to fourth place, with a decline in average monthly speed to 2.22 Mbps, down from 2.53 Mbps in October.

In Taiwan, Hoshin Multimedia moved into the No. 2 spot from fifth place in October, with an average monthly speed of 2.95 Mbps, up from 2.58 Mbps last month. KBro fell one spot to third place, with average monthly speed decreasing to 2.87 Mbps in November from 3.1 Mbps in October.

ComClark in the Philippines rose two spots into first place, raising its average monthly speed to 2.42 Mbps in November, up from 1.85 Mbps in October.

In Spain, Telecable secured the No. 1 spot, moving up five places since last month, increasing its average monthly speed to 3.68 Mbps from 3.61 Mbps in October.

Mexico’s Totalplay took the top spot this month by delivering an average monthly speed of 3.8 Mbps on November, up from 3.43 last month.
