Vice Media will launch Viceland, its youth-focused lifestyle and culture channel, in the Netherlands and Belgium on March 1st.
Liberty Global’s cable platform Ziggo will carry the channel in the Netherlands and Telenet in Belgium. The channel will launch with local versions of Viceland Census, a factual series in which young people from across the country give their opinions on topics including politics, drugs, sex, money and climate change.
Viceland launched in the US and Canada in February 2016 and has since been rolled out in the UK, Ireland, France, Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. The channel aims to be in 51 territories by the end of 2017.
