ABOX42 has successfully completed its first Operator projects in North America with its latest Platforms, cooperating with major TV middleware providers to deliver a comprehensive solution for a great first screen TV experience. The ABOX42 product portfolio for North America contains the latest HD and UHD Set-Top-Boxes engineered in Germany, utilising technologies and patents from major US industry leaders. The ABOX42 M30 STB Platform contains Broadcom’s most advanced BCM7250 chipset to deliver top HD quality, while ABOX42’s newest high-end M50 STB Platform, contains Broadcom’s BCM7252S chipset to deliver UHD performance and quality. Additionally, ABOX42’s latest M-Series models support Operator-Grade Linux (OPL) system and are suited for Operator-Grade Android TV (OPG).
