Sky D Champions League final on Sony VR
June 2, 2017
Sky Deutschland is offering subscribers with a Sony VR headset the chance to watch the Champions League final in immersive virtual reality.
Customers with a PS Plus subscription and PS VR headset can watch the June 3rd match from a “virtual hospitality box”, offering 180 degree views, match statistics and social media feeds.
“After several VR live tests, the customers with a Playstation VR will be able to enjoy a live transmission from the UEFA Champions League in Virtual Reality for the first time in Germany. We look forward to developing new products that satisfy the growing interest in Virtual Reality content in future,” commented Alice Mascia, EVP Products and Marketing at Sky Deutschland.
