THEMA expands its operation in ASIA

As part of its strategy of consolidating a global distribution network in line with its clients’s needs worldwide, THEMA is proud to announce the creation of a new subsidiary in Mumbai, India, in charge of developing business operations across the Indian subcontinent (SAARC), including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Maldives.

Manivel Malone is appointed as Managing Director of THEMA South Asia and will be based in Mumbai from January 1, 2018.

Simultaneously, Alexandre Bac is appointed as the new Managing Director of THEMA Asia Pacific based in Singapore.

Both of them report to Arnaud Verlhac, Head of Distribution for THEMA Group based in Paris.

Manivel Malone, 48, received a Business School Degree in International Business Development. He started his career at MCM International in 1995 as Assistant Manager Europe and then created their Pacific Asian operation in 1997. After 4 years as SVP International Business Development at Fashion TV, he joined THEMA in 2005 as Managing Director Asia Pacific, and opened the Singapore office in 2010. Manivel speaks French, Tamil, Hindi and English.

Alexandre BAC, 32, Master graduate in International trade and Marketing from Burgundy School of Business in France, also graduated from Taiwan’s Feng Chia University. After a first experience in Motion Caption in The Netherlands at Xsens Technologies in 2010, Alexandre integrated the International Department of Burgundy Council, for the international development of local enterprises for Asia Pacific based in Singapore. He’s been head of Business Development at THEMA Asia Pacific since 2012. Alexandre speaks French and English.
