fuboTV adds NFL Network and RedZone

September 8, 2017

US live streaming TV service fuboTV  is adding more NFL programming in time for the kick-off of the 2017-18 season.  Through a new carriage agreement with NFL Media, NFL Network and NFL RedZone will be available to subscribers of fuboTV’s sports-first offerings.

Starting this week, NFL Network joins the “Fubo Premier” base package. Available for $34.99 per month, Fubo Premier also includes NFL broadcast partners CBS, FOX and NBC, with upcoming match-ups available on most Internet-connected devices, along with other popular television networks.  The addition of NFL Network brings Fubo Premier subscribers Thursday Night Football, as well as popular shows such as NFL GameDay Morning, A Football Life, The Timeline, wall-to-wall news and fantasy coverage from around the NFL and much more.

Additionally, fuboTV announced the re-launch of its “Sports Plus” package, available to Fubo Premier subscribers for an additional $8.99 per month, featuring NFL RedZone and 14 other sports channels.  Produced by NFL Network, NFL RedZone brings fans live look-ins to every touchdown and all the big moments from every Sunday afternoon game across the NFL.  NFL RedZone cuts from stadium to stadium and delivers fans the most exciting plays as they happen, live and in high definition, each Sunday afternoon.

“The NFL is constantly looking for more ways to offer NFL content on platforms where fans are spending increasing amounts of time,” said Hans Schroeder, Chief Operating Officer of Media and Business for the NFL. “We’re excited to offer NFL Network and NFL RedZone through fuboTV, a service focused on serving sports fans on digital platforms that will provide yet another option for keeping up with NFL Network’s 24/7 NFL coverage and catching RedZone’s action-packed Sunday afternoon experience.”

Originally launched in 2015 as a soccer streaming service, fuboTV has since evolved into a leading sports-first, live streaming TV provider in the US. Its Fubo Premier line-up of 65-plus channels includes 36 that carry sports programming – more than any other streaming TV provider’s similar bundle.

“As our line-up has evolved, our mission remains the same: to offer the most popular sports in the world for the lowest price,” said David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of fuboTV.  “Today we add a brand that is the epitome of premium sports content.  NFL Network solidifies our basic bundle, and fans now have the option to add NFL RedZone along with 14 other sports channels to their subscription – making sure they don’t miss football’s most exciting moments every Sunday afternoon.”

A list of all channels now available to Fubo Premier subscribers, as well as information on fuboTV’s add-on options, can be found at fubo.tv/welcome/channels.

In the near future, fuboTV subscribers receiving NFL Network and NFL RedZone will also be able to use their fuboTV login and password for TV Everywhere access to the services through Watch NFL Network, available on NFL.com and NFL apps across connected TV and mobile devices.  Also coming soon, Fubo Premier subscribers will receive NFL Network’s on-demand content, which will be added to a growing VOD library that currently includes more than 10,000 titles.
