VeEX product announcements at ECOC 2017

VeEX, a global player in telecom, CaTV, fibre, transport and broadband access and a member of the FTTH Council Europe, will showcase several new products at the European Conference on Optical Communications (ECOC) taking place at the Svenska Massan (Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre) located in Gothenburg, Sweden from September 18th – 20th.

At booth #310, VeEX will unveil and demonstrate:

RXT-6000e Multi-Service 40/100G test module for RXT-1200 platform – Equipped with CFP2, QSFP28 and QSFP+ optical transceiver ports including dual SFP/SFP+/SFP28 interfaces, the new module is the most flexible multi-rate tester for core, metro, business services and data centre test applications. New emerging test capabilities include 32G Fiber Channel, 2.5GE, 25GE and IEEE 802.3bj RS-FEC support.

OPX-BOXe OTDR – Ultra compact, “black box” OTDR designed to operate remotely using Fiberizer Mobile software or embedded Web Browser application. This newly enhanced e-model features Bluetooth and WiFi capability compatible with iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices including Ethernet and USB remote control.

FX100 Optical Loss Test Set – Premium, multi-functional tester to measure Power, bi-directional Loss and Optical Return Loss (ORL) on fiber optic systems with unprecedented ease of use. Advanced functions include fiber end face inspection using VeEX Fiberscopes and a Digital Talk Set for full duplex fibre communication over a single fibre under test. The affordable, color touch screen device features a light, compact and rugged design, ideally suited for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

VS-500 Fiberscope – The newly redesigned and affordable VS-500 digital fibre inspection microscope features a single-finger focusing knob, brightness control and a digital sensor with detectable resolution to 0.5 μm, providing excellent image viewing and analysis. The unit is compatible with all VeEX test platforms, including the Fiberizer PC and mobile software applications. A variety of tips for industry standard connector types is available.
