Expanding upon its base in arts and culture programming, Ovation has created a new, multi-platform, VoD service focused on cultural tourism branded ‘Journy’.
The service, available immediately in the US on Rokudevices and the Xumo connected-TV platform, features a number of new acquisitions, as well as select Ovation travel-related original series and specials.
“Although Journy has its own distinct personality, we like to say it’s ‘powered by Ovation,’ which is to say that the artful, creative spirit of Ovation is very much there,” said Will Marks, VP, New Business Development and Digital, Ovation. “Since millennials celebrate experiences, we’re launching Journy as a place where our culturally curious consumer will connect with their adventurous side and be inspired.”
