RTVE launches Playz OTT platform

Spanish public broadcaster RTVE, operator of La 1 and La 2 among other channels, has launched a new OTT platform branded ‘Playz’.
The service, targeting a youth audience, will distribute series and entertainment programmes, with all content available online, on portable devices and connected TVs. Series such as Colegas, Mambo and Dorien of Inhibidos will be available as well as entertainment programmes such as The Challengers, Playchez and Gente Viva.
Viewers will be able to discuss and interact with the programming through social media networks.
