Murdoch investor arrested

Billionaire and philanthropist Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has been arrested as part of a Saudi Arabian-led anti-corruption drive. Senior Saudi sources confirmed the arrest late on November 4th.
Another high-profile name said to be detained is Sheikh Salah Kamel, founder of the Arab Radio & Television (ART) media group, and the Dallah al Baraka banking, food and real estate conglomerate.
The prince is one of the Gulf region’s key media players, and amongst other investments owns the Rotana music-to-films organisation, and includes a portfolio of luxury hotels as part of his Kingdom Holdings business. He owns the Lebanese Broadcasting Corp (LBC) TV channel, based in Beirut.
He is a major investor in News Corp and 21st Century Fox, is reportedly the largest investor in banking operation Citigroup, and an investor in Twitter.
