Eurofins Digital Testing, a global player in end-to-end quality assurance (QA) and testing services, has been selected by RiksTV, a leading Norwegian digital terrestrial TV (DTTV) provider, to automate monitoring of service availability of RiksTV digital TV and HD TV services.
RiksTV offers a wide range of TV and entertainment services for people across Norway, with more than 50 TV channels also available on tablets and mobile, radio and music services, weekly archives, movie rentals, streaming services, as well as RiksTV Junior children’s own entertainment. RiksTV is Norway’s only TV distributor to provide digital TV and HDTV via antenna and Internet. The company’s DTTV network consists of more than 450 ground-based transmitters and reaches 98 per cent of Norwegian households and 90 per cent of all holiday homes throughout the country.
Under the agreement, RiksTV will use Eurofins’ cloud-based TestWizard system to to automate testing and provide performance monitoring for quality assurance for its DTTV services. TestWizard reduces the time spent on repetitive, manual tests by providing automated tests cases for increased coverage and consistency to provide service validation, insights into the end-user experience, and performance monitoring for quality assurance.
