POP launches on Tivùsat in Italy

Italian DTH platform Tivùsat has added a new entertainment TV channel for kids.
POP is produced by Sony Pictures Television Network and is available on channel position 45. The new channel offers a varied mix of entertainment and action programmes focusing on premieres of animated series such as Power Rangers Ninja Steel, Transformers Rescue Bots, Angels Code and hit shows like Ninja Turtles, Angry Birds and Wild Kratts.
POP will be the seventh channel dedicated to kids and children on Tivùsat, in addition to Boing, Cartoonito, Rai Gulp, Rai YoYo, Super and Frisbee.
With the latest arrival, the number of TV channels distributed via the platform reaches 95, of which 30 in HD and 44 radio channels.
At the end of June, there were more than 3 million active cards for Tivùsat.
