Movistar+ leaving PlayStation consoles
November 27, 2017
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Telefónica’s pay-TV platform Movistar+ is pulling its service from Sony PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles.
From December 1st the Movistar+ app will no longer be available on these devices, with the company yet to offer a reason why.
PlayStation console owners who use the app have been receiving letters over the last few days informing them about the change, recommending them to use other devices like tablets and Smart TVs to access the platform.
Movistar+ will continue to be available on Microsoft Xbox consoles.
