HBO GO expands European presence

HBO content is now available direct to consumers in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. The expansion of HBO GO to seven more countries follows the November 13th launch of HBO GO in Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The exclusive online platform HBO GO offers HBO’s entire library of original series, films and documentaries, together with HBO Europe’s acclaimed locally-produced drama and documentaries, a wide selection of series from other premium content providers as well as movies and children’s programming.

HBO GO enables subscribers to enjoy all seasons of popular and critically-acclaimed HBO Original content such as Game of Thrones, Westworld and Silicon Valley alongside popular classic series such as Sex and the City, The Sopranos and The Wire. Subscribers will also get access to HBO Europe local programming. In addition, HBO GO premieres a long list of brand new hit movies such as Beauty and the Beast, Trainspotting 2, Jackie and Assassin’s Creed, as well as top series from other content providers including. The Handmaid’s Tale, Babylon Berlin, Billions, Twin Peaks and Luther. New titles are added on a weekly basis with a broad range premiering simultaneously with the US.
