Apple iTV will launch in 2012
December 2, 2011
The likelihood of Apple bringing its own TV set to market is increasing with Gene Munster – renowned Apple watcher – declaring it will do so.
Munster revealed that Apple was looking to create a total home entertainment package contained within the television set – a premium price flat panel (Munster reckons about twice the regular price). For controlling the TV, Munster believes that Siri may be involved – presumably as an alternative to using an iPod or iPhone as a remote.
