Swiss TV to go HD

By Chris Forrester
Switzerland’s SRG says it will turn six of its regular channels into HD services, starting February 29th. However, the all-embracing ‘best of’ HD Suisse channel will close.
The six channels equate to two each for the nation’s three main languages (French, German and Italian). At the same time the new HD services will adopt the EBU’s loudness normalisation recommendations.
