French fear damage of connected TV

French media regulator CSA has commissioned a study on the development of connected TV.
Emmanuel Gabla, a CSA board member, said that though only about 5 per cent of French homes had a connected TV now the regulator believed connected TV would become common in the future. The CSA is concerned the entry of new players and the potential relative decline in the importance of broadcast TV channels will affect original production.
