UPC’s DTH revenues tumble

Romanian DTH supplier Focus Sat, owned by Liberty’s UPC MSO, suffered a major revenue collapse of some 24 per cent last year. The report, carried by local business newspaper Ziarul Financiar, stated that the loss is within the financial statement made by Focus Sat to the Finance Ministry.
Specifically, the newspaper states that Focus Sat’s revenues fell last year to €11.5 million. Additionally, the financial statement shows a loss of €5.4 million for the year.
UPC’s Romanian division overall showed revenues of €103.4 million for 2011.
