Verizon has confirmed the addition of BBC Worldwide’s US channel BBC America to its FiOS IPTV service.

The HD feed, which sits at slot number 689 on the EPG, is available to subscribers of FiOS TV’s Extreme HD and Ultimate HD packages. Verizon also plans to add BBC America HD to its video-on-demand offering.
