Fry’s guide to 3D TV

September 17, 2010

Stephen Fry, the comic and self-confessed technophile has produced a short-film – in association with Sky – which takes a look at 3D TV and how it works, without the jargon. Fry said: “3D TV in the home is going to be the next exciting chapter in television history and I’m delighted to be able to offer a little clarity on the subject.”

Sky 3D, set to become Europe’s first 3D channel, will show live sports, films and documentaries to the millions of Sky+HD customers at no extra charge. Brian Lenz, Sky’s director of TV product development, said: “Stephen’s guide is a great, simple ‘one-stop’ video that will help provide some understanding around 3D television and show viewers how simple it is to become 3D ready”.
