3D on Poland’s n

November 29, 2010

Platform ‘n’ will launch Poland’s first regular 3D TV service, to be called “nShow 3D.”  The new 3D service debuts on December 4th, with special live coverage of the European Boxing Union’s (EBU) heavyweight showdown between Poland’s Albert “The Dragon” Sosnowski and defending champion Alexander Dimitrenko.

The announcement was made by Christian Anting, Platform ‘n’ Chief Operating Officer: “While there have been limited 3D specials offered in the marketplace earlier this year, including this year’s Football Champions League final on Platform ‘n’, the “nShow 3D” service lineup will feature a regular mix of 3D programming available to all Platform ‘n’ subscribers directly via their set-top boxes and without an additional fee until the end of 2011.  With 3D enabled TV sets and glasses, all Platform ‘n’ subscribers will have front-row-style access to a regular dose of 3D concerts, movies, documentaries and key sporting events including Football Champions League offered by the specially branded 3D TV service, which promises to be the “3Rd Dimension of Entertainment.”
