Moldtelecom scales Minerva platform

Minerva Networks, provider of carrier-class solutions for the delivery of television services over broadband, has announced that Moldtelecom is offering advance television services, powered by the company’s platform, to tens of thousands of subscribers.
Moldtelecom is using the Minerva software to offer advanced television services to its MaxDSL and MaxFiber subscribers. Modltelecom offers two basic packages, ‘Premier’ and ‘Univers’, and one thematic package for adults. The operator recently added an HD package to its offering and made it available via its FTTx network. The Moldtelecom television services will soon include network-based digital video recording (nDVR), pause and restart of live TV programmes, and Catch-up TV.
