Conax veteran leaves company

Content security provider Conax has confirmed that its EVP, Products and Markets,  has left the company. Bjørndal has played a major role in the development of the Telenor-owned security provider and has been a key figure in moving the technology company from a small Scandinavian company to a major global player. The Norway-based business ranks in the top four in the world within security solutions for pay-TV content, with over 350 customers in 80 countries.

Bjørndal join mobile operator Telenor in 1992, moving to its Conax subsidiary in 1994. He was an early driver of the company’s global partner network and policy for open technology and has seen the company through a period of great change that has included significant market growth and the establishment of new ventures and international offices.

Bjørndal has been a high-profile senior spokesperson within the global industry media and market expert for Conax.

Conax thanked Bjørndal for his “highly valuable contribution to the company” and wished him the best in future endeavours.
