Summer vacations are almost upon us, but Hamlet never rests. It’s our 25th Anniversary at IBC this year, so why not check out our latest instruments – it’s your party!

Hamlet are very pleased to announce, that the NEW, award winning DigiScope DS900 test, measurement, monitoring and multi-viewer is now shipping. With orders to complete and users from broadcast, editing, OB, remote control monitoring sites and educational environments – it’s obviously been a great hit, with an excellent R.O.I.!

A cost effective, 1U, half rack enclosure, with the capacity to provide simmultaneous monitoring of up to 4 channels of 3G, HD or SD SDI inputs, with EYE pattern if required – it’s a real snip. Analogue video measurement and monitoring and 1080p to analogue test signal pattern generation modules also due soon.

Hamlet‚s proven digital modular test and measurement platform has been redeveloped into an even more compact form factor for the DS900. Four modules can be packed into the half width 1U cabinet, performing multiple tests on four independent signals. The motherboard includes a multi-view processor, putting up to 16 windows on a DVI or XVGA monitor for maximum flexibility.

Its modular structure means that the applications can be tailored to the precise requirements of the application, with Different capabilities on each input of the unit. Modules are available for analogue and digital inputs, SD/HD/3G with and without eye pattern testing and a test signal generator. Confidence monitoring and audio de-multiplexing is available on any input.

In use the unit is simple to set up, using iScope on three touch-sensitive displays. Traces can be moved at the touch of your finger. Alternatively it can be controlled as part of a managed system over IP. The software in the processor platform and individual modules can be updated online when required.

Hamlet invented on screen T&M and now celebrate 25 years of innovation, so why not check out our latest instruments at IBC 2011….. it’s your party!
