Sky hits 60 HD channels with Animal Planet

Sky has confirmed the arrival of Animal Planet HD – the 60th high definition channel to join the platform.
In January 2012, share of viewing to HD channels within Sky+HD households saw a 68 per cent year on year rise in audiences.
Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky’s Director of TV Products, said: “As we add our 60th HD channel, we’ve never seen higher demand from our customers to watch TV in stunning HD. Sky continues to extend its leadership in high definition TV and with every new HD channel we launch, we’re giving our HD customers more of what they love.”
