Nilesat cuts Syrian TV

Cairo-based satellite operator Nilesat has reportedly cut transmissions of all of Syria’s state-backed channels.
The request came about following a meeting of Arab foreign ministers concerned over reports coming out of Damascus.

BBC Monitoring is reporting that Arabic-language news station Al-Alam has confirmed the action.
