Rovi has released its new DivX Plus Software for the creation, and streaming of high-quality video. The multi-component DivX Plus Software for Windows and Mac is available free to download and supports faster video conversion, output to iPhone and iPad, as well as streaming to DLNA-compatible home electronics. The new version is also the first software package to support DivX Plus Streaming, the new adaptive streaming format, which has gained the support of major studios, retailers, and the CE industry for delivering an advanced feature set with support for 1080p, subtitles, multiple language tracks, and trick-play functions.
