Chellomedia, the international content company of Liberty Global, has confirmed the launch of Chello Latin America, a new operating business that already provides television services to more than 100 million households in the region.
Alejandro Harrison has been appointed the CEO of Chello Latin America and will be reporting to Niall Curran, President of Chellomedia. Alejandro was previously the CEO of Pramer SCA. which, along with MGM Latin America LLC, and Canal Cosmopolitan Latino America LLC becomes integrated into Chello Latin America.
Headquartered in Miami, and with offices in Buenos Aires, Chello Latin America will be responsible for the management and distribution of its pay TV channels as well as the development of the business through M&A, strategic partnerships and investments.
