Irdeto protects RSCC satellites

Irdeto, a specialist  in multi-screen, media protection and revenue assurance solutions, has announced that Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) has selected Irdeto as a main provider of media protection solutions to secure the content of the commercial TV channels distributed via RSCC satellites.

RSCC is the largest satellite operator in Russia, with satellites positioned along the geostationary arc extending from 14 degrees West to 140 degrees East. The satellites cover Russia, CIS, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, North and South America and Australia. Due to this global coverage RSCC can provide Russian and foreign TV channels with services to any point of the world.
