Verimatrix, the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services around the globe, and Swedish triple-play operator Com Hem, have confirmed that the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) has been selected to secure Com Hem’s advanced multi-screen TV services scheduled to launch Spring 2013. The new service will be delivered via the TiVo advanced television solution.

Jens Persson, development manager of Com Hem, said a single source for rights management across linear and on-demand content offered its customers the absolute best television experience. “Verimatrix has provided excellent support in the integration of VCAS with TiVo and we look forward to launching one of the world’s most advanced TV services,” he stated. Joshua Danovitz, VP and GM, international, TiVo, said the advanced IPTV solution would allow non-set-top-box subscribers to enjoy TiVo, for the ultimate combination of traditional and next-generation television.
