CSG International to speak at CASBAA India Forum and host VIP event

February 25, 2013

CSG Systems International, a global provider of software and services-based business support solutions that help clients generate revenue and maximise customer relationships, has announced that it will be participating in the CASBAA India Forum 2013 and hosting a VIP event for cable executives in Delhi next month.

With the first deadline for cable digitalization of four key metros – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai – considered by most to be a success, the focus has now turned to the progress of the Phase II deadline for a further 38 cities across India.

Senior executives, stakeholders and leaders within the cable sector in attendance at CSG’s VIP cocktail evening on Wednesday, 6th March 2013 will explore the progress of Phase II digitalisation, reveal the key experiences from the US and identify the impact digitalization has had on the cable industry in India.

“CSG International is a global leader in the cable industry supplying its proven innovations in revenue management, customer care, field-based workforce and order management to support the Indian cable industry as it embraces digitalisation.  Our breadth of experience with leading cable and satellite
companies such as Comcast Cable, Time Warner Cable and Dish Network enables us to share specific insights from the digitalisation of the cable market in the US,” said Ian Watterson, CSG International’s Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific.

The event will also offer attendees an opportunity to meet Vice President of Product Management at CSG International, Chad Dunavant, before he speaks on the Digital Dream panel at the CASBAA India Forum 2013 being held the following day.

“I have watched with great anticipation as the nation embraces the phased digitalisation that will create new business opportunities, to include tiered bandwidth, high speed data and content offerings to accommodate a wide variance in customer usage patterns and preferences. Whilst it is challenging times, I’m confident of the positive impact this change will have on the cable market and the wider economy in India,” said Dunavant.

The VIP Cable Cocktail evening will be held on Wednesday, 6th March 2013 (7.30pm – 9.30pm) at Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel in New Delhi.  Chad Dunavant will also be speaking at the CASBAA India Forum 2013 on the Digital Dream Panel running at 11.15am on Thursday, 7th March 2013 at the same venue.
