riwidoruwido has launched its mono remote control, uniquely designed to focus on the central aspects of search and navigation by touching the emotions of the user.

TV Connect 2013 marks the debut of the Austrian company’s latest innovation in remote control design, its mono architecture. The body of the remote is formed of one solid piece of high quality material, designed to offer a new dimension of optic and haptic pleasure. Engineered with intuitive elegance in mind, mono fuses the latest technology with functional design. The smooth, glass-like body of the remote control seamlessly encloses the keypad and emphasise the aesthetics of the device as one single piece of material.

“At ruwido, we constantly draw on our extensive user experience research and our longstanding design heritage in order to continue developing remotes that are specifically aimed to resonate with the user and that allow the synchronisation of mind and sense,” says Ferdinand Maier, CEO, ruwido. “With our mono architecture, we have created a device that not only reflects the premium brand, but is also an intuitive tool that focuses on the pure essence of navigation. The solid, single body of the remote control reinforces the joy that it is to use. We are delighted to be launching the mono remote at TV Connect; a further proof of innovative design leadership.”
