Keshet International Strikes Triple Nordic Deal for New Game Show ‘Sure or Insure’

April 11, 2013

April 9, 2013: Keshet International, the global distribution arm of Keshet Media Group, has signed three new format sales for Sure or Insure, the company’s new family game show launched at MIPTV, with local versions planned for Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Keshet International has licensed the new show to Nordisk Film TV, a Banijay company, for the three territories.

Sure or Insure is a shiny-floor studio game show that hands one contestant $1 million – and then plops his family in between him and the cash. He needs to answer ten trivia questions correctly without any lifelines,
relying only on how well his family knows him to bail him out. After each question, the family can choose to buy insurance as a “safety net” if they aren’t sure he’s got the right answer. But just like in real life, each time they use the insurance, it becomes more and more expensive. And the more money they lose from the million, the more they’ll fight about how they spend it, airing their family laundry in the open air in this hilarious show. And you thought your family was crazy…

The deals follows Keshet International selling the format rights of its critically acclaimed drama MICE to Russia.
