Scripps Networks Interactive has begun to roll out a suite of websites and mobile applications designed to give authenticated viewers access to Scripps’ popular lifestyle programming on a wider variety of platforms and devices, beginning with the Travel Channel, Food Network, HGTV, DIY Network and Cooking Channel websites.
“The best way to meet growing consumer demand is to help them access content beyond the set-top box and deliver it through various industry initiatives such as TV Everywhere,” said Henry Ahn, executive vice president, content distribution and marketing, Scripps Networks Interactive. “We are delivering on our core promise to entertain, inform and inspire consumers and provide them a wider range of options for immersive experiences and engagement with our popular lifestyle brands.”
“We’re very excited to add these networks to our growing collection of TV Everywhere offerings, said Mike Angus, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Time Warner Cable. “We look forward to expanding the number of ways our customers can access their favorite Scripps programming anytime, anywhere.”
With this launch, Time Warner Cable Video subscribers can watch episodes of Scripps shows online from any compatible device in the US.
