OIPF supports and encourages participation in seminar on “Beyond the Set-top Box”

On November 6th and 7th, OIPF member company TNO will host, with support from the Open IPTV Forum, an interactive and in-depth two-day seminar called “Beyond the Set-Top Box” in the Amsterdam area.
This seminar will bring the latest developments, challenges and technologies to deliver IPTV directly to the TV set without a set top box. Learn about the operator’s IPTV practices, the evolution of smart TVs, the progress in managed and over the top video delivery, developments in standards, and the lessons learned from a standards-based proof of concept for STB-less IPTV that TNO has developed together with a dozen leading industry partners over the last year.
