Sky Deutschland customers are now able to watch the best of US sport leagues in HD through the new Sport1 US channel – which offers extensive live coverage of the NFL, NBA, NCAA football, NCAA basketball and the IndyCar Series.
Sport1 US is available in Germany via satellite exclusively with Sky for all HD subscribers who have booked the Fußball Bundesliga or the Sport package plus HD. The channel will be distributed in Germany and Austria.
As a special service for all fans of US sports, Sky has also secured exclusive multifeed rights to SPORT1 US HD, which will allow Sky customers to choose between simultane-ously scheduled NFL games or overlapping events in different sports.

Sport1 US will show up to seven NFL games per weekend, broadcast either live or as-live with German or the original English commentary. The complete NFL playoffs and the Super Bowl, which will take place in early February, will be broadcast live. Sport1 US will also air three live games per week during the regular season and the playoffs of the NBA. Further, the entire NBA Finals will be broadcast live.
Live college football coverage will include regular season games, starting in August, as well as the Bowl Season, culminating in the Championship game in January. And coming in November, college basketball fans can tune in to regular season games as well as the conference tournaments and March Madness.
