Front Porch Digital and Telefónica have announced a cooperation agreement under which Telefónica will offer cloud services to its customers powered by Front Porch Digital’s LYNXSM cloud-based content storage management (CSM) service. Telefónica will install LYNX in its data center in Spain, from which it will resell LYNX services. Telefónica’s new offering, media management in the cloud, will target customers in Spain, Portugal, and South America, focusing on broadcasters with the need to manage large media archives.
