Flingo, a publisher of Smart TV apps and Smart TV advertising, has formed a partnership with web specialist Opera Software to launch multiple Smart TV apps with Flingo’s dynamic ad insertion capabilities. These apps will be available on TVs and devices from leading manufacturers including Sony, TiVo, TCL and HiSense, on which Opera TV products are shipped. The first five apps, including Popular Science, Fitness, Saveur, Fora.tv, and CelebTV, will be available today, with more apps launching throughout the year.
The partnership will allow TV manufacturers using Opera’s TV products to get apps from Flingo’s media partners, and will allow all Opera TV developers and ecosystem partners to leverage Samba TV Ads for driving higher advertising revenue.
