ESPN Player on Smart TV

nba-dunkESPN Player, the live and on-demand sports streaming service, is now available on Samsung Smart TVs across the UK and Europe, and will launch on LG Smart TV’s in the near future.

Sports fans with Samsung Smart TVs are now able to download the free ESPN Player App directly onto their TV’s from Samsung Apps. The Player app is available on all 2012 and 2013 model Samsung Smart TVs in the regions.

The news comes as ESPN Player has enjoyed 90 per cent year-on-year growth in subscriptions to its ESPN College Pass subscription package in August – which features NCAA College Football (including the BCS Bowls and National Championship) as well as the coming NCAA College Basketball season (including the annual March Madness Tournaments).

ESPN Player is has Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Annual Pass subscriptions ranging in price from £1.99 to £99.99.
