Movie and TV streaming service blinkbox has launched a dedicated app for Sony’s popular console, giving nearly six million PS3 homes easy access to its movies and TV series.
blinkbox CEO Michael Comish comments: “Teaming up with PS3 means we can bring the latest blockbuster movies and quality TV series to even more homes in the UK. The app further demonstrates our commitment to delivering stellar entertainment to as many people as possible, on a wide variety of devices.”
The app includes all the popular features of blinkbox apps on other devices including the ability to browse and buy from a vast catalogue of movies and TV, filter by Best Sellers, New Releases, Top Selling and Genre and predictive search to find the movie or TV series you’re after. Previously PS3 users relied on the web browser to access blinkbox.
