Viewster, the free platform for VoD has announced reaching the 20 million mark in unique users within its European network, making Viewster the leading VoD platform for European series according to Google Analytics.
Headquartered in Zurich, with additional offices in London, Berlin and Kiev, the ad-supported VoD service offers its audience over 12,000 titles for free. Viewster’s availability stretches to all European countries with a wide range of premium content, paving the way for cord cutters who have shifted away from traditional, linear TV viewing habits. Viewster’s strongest markets are in the UK and Germany: in the UK Viewster ranks 16th in video properties according to comScore (September 2013). In Germany, AGOF testifies Viewster’s growth of 60 per cent in the last quarter, listing Viewster in the Top 50 of available online offerings (October 2013).
