Technicolor has been selected as the exclusive supplier of digital asset management services for StudioCanal’s theatrical and home entertainment releases.
Through this agreement, StudioCanal will utilise Technicolor’s cloud-based portal that centralises distribution modules while providing unprecedented content security. This platform is intuitive, providing users complete control and offering on-demand access to their content – anytime, anywhere. Authorised users can instantly connect and interact with this Technicolor platform from virtually any device: PC and Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android devices. The platform is utterly secure enabling high level of automation for the digital archive, storage and protection of elements.
StudioCanal will introduce Technicolor digital asset management solution initially in France and then roll-out to other territories including the UK, Germany and Australia.
