Liberty Global shuffles UPC Czech management

Frans-Willem de Kloet, currently Managing Director, Liberty Global Business Services will be appointed as Managing Director of UPC Czech Republic as per January 1st 2014 and will assume all day-to-day operating responsibilities. In this role he will replace Vaclav Barton who will retire.
As Managing Director, Liberty Global Business Services, Frans-Willem de Kloet has been responsible for the overall Business to Business (B2B) markets of Liberty Global in Europe. Prior to Liberty Global he worked at Hewlett Packard where he was responsible for the Dutch Telecom, Media, Entertainment and Financial Services sector. He was also active as Regional Director of Global accounts at MCI/Verizon between 1998 and 2005 and started his career at KPN.
Chris Coles will succeed Frans-Willem de Kloet, taking over the leadership of Liberty Global Business Services in the role of Managing Director, Liberty Global Business Markets. Coles has held various senior management positions in large enterprises and start-ups including: Cisco Systems, Siemens (now Nokia Siemens), Myrio, HyperQuality, Qwest, TCI, AT&T and US West.
