i24news has signed a distribution deal with Spanish operator Telefónica to be part of its IPTV platform Movistar TV 24/7 English version.
This is the second distribution agreement for the channel in Spain following a deal with Canal Plus last month to distribute its French version.
Frank Melloul, CEO of i24news said: “We have the honour of launching i24news on Telefónica, Spain. It reinforces the awareness of our channel.”
Laurent Malek, CMO and CCO at i24news added: “We are very pleased to strengthen our presence in Spain with both our French and now our English channel. i24news is already available on various TV operators from its launch on July 17th, 2013, in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Italy, the West Indies and Africa.”
